Anamaria is an Romanian Actress. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. The actress is fluent in French, German and English. Her mother is professional musician. Her father is an actor as well as a theater instructor at one Romania's top acting schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in the Mangalia Young Actor Gala. In 2008, she was recognized as an 'Eastern Shooting Star' European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught for 4 years in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria is an Romanian Actress born 01 April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress from Romanian descent has made her screen debut in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for this role. Apart from her stellar acting in her debut feature film, she is remembered for role in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 Weeks and 2 Days which won her numerous awards, including an award from the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. In 2007, her role on Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film 4 luni 3 semaines si 2 days (4 months, 3 weeks and two days), won both the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two other awards, the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Additionally, she was a part in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. She also played Yasim Awar in BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the movie Fury (2014) her character played Irma the German woman who played Emma's aunt.
