She was then adopted. The father of her adoptive family is white American who has military experience, as is her adoptive mother, who is Filipino. The woman has said she and the adopted brother were neglected by their adoptive parents from the time she was a child until her entry into the army. After a short time in San Francisco, her family moved to Texas to help her father undergo a bypass procedure. Her mother claims that the physical assault subsided but she was still dealing with her father's psychological abuse in her home. After 18 years of her life she joined her in the United States Navy. Poarch began with her TikTok account on April 2020 and swiftly rose to stardom with more than 40 million users within less than eight months. Her biggest success was the video she made for Millie B's hit track Soph Aspin Send. This became one of TikTok's most popular videos. The clip zoomed in on her jumping rhythmically and lip-syncing along to the track became viral. To take advantage of the fame gained since becoming a member of TikTok in December 2016, Poarch created YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. Poarch's burgeoning fame peaked in December 2020. According to reports, she was the target of two big professional Esports groups. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves have expressed interest to hire her as a creator of content under the respective brand names.
